An immunomodulatory drug, Leflunomide is used to treat rheumatoid arthritis and psoriatic arthritis. An inhibitor of enzyme dihydroorotate dehydrogenase which plays a key role in the synthesis of uridine monophosphate (rUMP), which is required for the synthesis of DNA and RNA.
