| Applications: | 2-(tert-Butylamino)-1-(4-benzyloxyphenyl)ethanone is an intermediate in the synthesis of t-Butylnorsynephrine (B690810), a derivative of norsynephrine, an endogenous biogenic amine that is closely related to norepinephrine, which has effects on the adrenergic and dopaminergic system. Structure and activity tudies have shown that t-Butylnorsynephrine may also exhibit effects towards β-adrenergic receptors and β-adrenergic receptor-coupled adenylate cyclase. |
