abamectin and its Impurities
An insecticide, acaricide and nematicide, Abamectin is a mixture of avermectins. It contains more than 80% avermectin B1a and less than 20% avermectin B1b. Both of these compounds have similar biological and toxicological properties. Various trade names for Aamectin are Abba, Abathor, Affirm, Agri-Mek, Avid, Dynamec, Epi-Mek, Genesis Horse Wormer, Reaper, Vertimec. Reference standards of Abamectin API, and its pharmacopeial, non pharmacopeial impurities, and stable isotopes are listed below.
