citalopram
A selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI), Citalopram is used for the treatment of depression, obsessive–compulsive disorder and panic disorders. It exists in two enatiomeric forms S-(+)-citalopram and R-(–)-citalopram. The S enantiomer provides the anti depressant effects.
